Silly makes your life Sense
Silly makes your life Sense

Ishan is a 10-year-old boy who goes to a juice shop with his parents. He saws sugarcanes stalks are cutting into pieces to make juice. At that moment, he raised a doubt that Which part of the sugarcane stalk will be the sweetest. He asked his parents about this, They said What a foolish question, you have to shut your mouth and now have juice.
This question persists in his mind every night. He asked the same with his siblings and they replied that all parts of the sugarcane have uniform sweetness. It will not be differed by its Parts.
Ishan was
not convinced with this answer. He asked the same to his friends, classmates
and his science teachers too, but the answer is quite the same.
After 10 years he shared the same
with his college professor.
He replied:
"As evidenced by the experimental reports when we make an extract from the
top, middle and bottom portion of sugarcane's stalk, the molecular structure
and sweetness remain same on all portions". Still, Ishan was not convinced
with this answer (mind voice).
Years passed, accidentally he met a
poor farmer. He
raised the same question to him with the same curiosity.
Farmer humbly replied: "Bottom portion of the
sugarcane stalk is sweeter than the rest of the portions".
Ishan asked
with curiosity: How do you tell this? Can you have any experimental proof for
this?
Farmer
humbly replied: "Expertise does not need experimental proofs. Just taste
the bottom, middle and top portions, you can easily find the answer".
Ishan smiled
and said: "Yeah, sugarcane grows from the bottom, it will be growing
gradually, therefore stalk near to the roots will be more sweetest".
How many of
us like Ishan experienced the same in our life. If Ishan gets the answer in his
early childhood days, his life may be drastically different. His doubt and his
answer may help him to think more and more to make a calibre to achieve more in
his life.
